Failure in full motion: The Prince of Persia Classic Glitch

The last time we updated you on The Prince of Persia Classic, the Xbox Live Arcade gem that's been buffed to a next gen shine, we heralded its release onto all Xbox Live regions and it being available for download for a mere 800 Microsoft points.

Now, YouTube user GusLan may have found a debilitating bug in the game that doesn't just ruin the joy of playing Prince of Persia Classic, but stops it dead on its tracks completely. And literally. The video embed below shows just what this bug is all about, as well as GusLan's vain attempt to try and get the game back on track.

So far, there's no known fix for this bug, nor the scope of it. And while we'll be on the lookout on updates about this glitch, we're a bit saddened by the fact that such a great title managed to get past the proper authorities while still having such a major bug in it.

Delete the game from your hard drive and then re-download it. Youu don't have to repay is its under the same screen name.

At the end he said he deleted the game and re-downloaded it 3 times. He even said he cleared the cache and the saved game.

People obviously like MS and MS products, otherwise they wouldnt give them money. And dont say that we HAVE to give MS money, there are plently of alternatives.

I actually got a glitch when I bought Catan where I would get logged off Live as soon as I pressed A to start it up. Couldn't play the online mode or anything. I was about to call up MS and demand my 800 points back (which is what this guy should do), and the day I was gonna do it it just fixed itself.



How can glitches like these happen to only certain people? Especially this PoP glitch, don't we all download the same game?

I also bought it about an hour after lauch, and mine works perfectly fine. Im on level 3 ATM.
