Fable 2 combat demonstration: of scars and single buttons

Sequels have a bad reputation for not living up to the original, but Fable 2 begs to differ. Fable for the Xbox delivered an immersive RPG experience full of various elements that got players absorbed into their characters. The next installment coming to the Xbox 360, however, takes a step further by making combat much more intuitive and action-packed.

Many gamers scratched their heads upon the announcement of using single button controls in Fable 2. Pressing the same button for all sword-based attacks is not very exciting, they say - and they couldn't be more wrong. Here's Peter Molyneux filling us in on how dynamic combat can actually be done without using more than one button.

He also mentions some cool details about getting scars when you die, or earning more experience by doing certain moves in battle. Check it out, along with some gameplay footage by watching the video below.
