Eragon demo out now |

Love it or hate it, don't knock it 'til you've tried it -- or at least that's how this writer's philosophy goes. A lot of you guys have been saying that Eragon sucks, and that you can't expect much from something that's a book/movie-turned-into-a-game.
While we can't really comment on Eragon just yet ('coz we haven't tried the demo), here's something for all knock-downers to think about: if books/movies that are turned into games always suck, then how come Tom Clancy-based games are good? Look at Rainbow Six, for example, it's pretty awesome right?
So anyway, we're not here to preach or anything, we just wanna let you guys know that the Eragon demo is now up on Xbox Live Marketplace and is downloadable for free for all Gold members. Sadly though, our fellas in Asia and Mexico won't be able to try it out 'coz it not available in their regions. But for all you guys who have gold accounts in XBL, we suggest you try it out. It's free anyway and you can always delete it if you don't like it, so what have you got to lose? *winks*

This game sucks. Graphics look like original Xbox. Typical movie to game crap. Not worth the download.
I got the dmeo and shut it off in less than 5 mins. U have got to be kidding me. This looks like crap. I would say even on the Xbox this would still be a bad game. This is next gen? I know its only a demo, but please, the controls are horrible, the graphics are worse. I cant believe someone actually thought this was a worthy of the 360, I hope the movie is better. At least with the movie they can make the money back from the lose of this game, HORRIBLE!

I gotta admit, this is the first time ive seen a game whos ingame graphics look better than its prerendered ones. Game looks like a really crisp xbox game, if even that. But the gameplay is fun. The sword fighting is fun. It reminds me of the Lord of the Rings game. But not as deep. Its cool when you block incorrectly (by holding it rather than tapping it at the right moment) and your character loses his balance and hits the floor and your blocking from your back. Gameplay wise its not bad. Would I buy it? Maybe if i saw it in the bargin bin one day. A rental though maybe.
I have to agree with everyone, this game has the worst graphics i have seen. Some xbox games were better than this! But gameplay wise it wasnt bad though it still needs tweaking and the story doesnt follow the books from what i have seen. I might rent it if i get bored one day
I've been looking on XBLM and I can't seem to find the demo....I know this is an old post, and I doubt any1 will see this, but if they do, is it under Game Demos? And if it is why can't I find it?
