Just a few hours ago, there were rumors of a big announcement for Gears of War, that supposedly began from an announcement made by Mark Rein himself. The very vague rumor has spread like wild fire and sparked a lot of speculations from eagerly awaiting gamers, including the game's release date.
If you're one of those eagerly awaiting gamers, who have lost precious Zs over this rumor, then you can rest your head now. The "Big Announcement" is Emergence Day. Gears of War will be available on November 12, 2006. I repeat, the critic's choice winner for the E3 2006 Best Console Game, Gears of War, will be released on November 12, 2006.
