Well I just finished single player in one giant go. I didn't sleep for the past 48 hours, but it was worth it. The game was definitely damn good. I've yet to do multiplayer due to concentrating on the campaign mode. I give it two thumbs up *****es.

The Revolution Will Be Playable

I'm not talking about the Wii. Gears of War is the reason why Microsoft will own this X-Mas. Complain all you want if you are a Sony only fan, however, no one gamer can say anything bad about this game. Uness you can't play it because of your foolish preferences. Get a Job or save some money and get a 360 this Christmas with a copy of GoW. PS3 will be great and so will the Wii, but Gears of War wont be on either one of them. -V

This is intensly annoying. I preordered a little while ago, and althoguh many still HAVE the game, I never even got my call from the local EB to pick it up. WHAT THE HELL. IT'S THE SEVENTH I WANT MY GAME >:(

MS said when Sony released the PS3, they’ll walk right into Crapalo 3. What a sh@tty like, this was the reason why so many people bought the Crapbox 360 including me. Now MS’s saying that Crapalo 3 isn’t ready yet, so play Gears of Crap instead for another year until we can release Crapalo 3 in Nov. 2007. When will they learn? We don’t want another crap like this. MS wet low standard for developers, so the developers can release craps with low budget, short development time and poor brain power. Look at these: Crap Rising, Ghost Recon: Advanced Crap, Craps Row, Phantasy (what a nonsense name) Crap Universe, Splinter Cell: Crap Agent, Lost Crap (what a moronic name, every time I hear the words Lost Planet, I’m reminded of lost cause), Perfect Crap Zero, Dead or Crap 4, Project Crap Racing 3, et cetera. MS must learn that ‘one’ A graded game is better than ‘ten’ B or C graded craps all added together. Moreover, ‘one’ class A game requires must less budge, time and brain power to make than ‘ten’ class B craps do. Crapbox Live service is a total rubbish and nonsense. Such online service is totally free in PC gaming industry (of course except RPGs); MS started this whole ret@rded nonsense years ago. Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN) service is free exactly like PC industry’s; and left to the developers to decide on what to use. Sony officially announced in a document that they will never do such nonsense & rubbish to their consumers like MS has done for the past many years. I have owned my Garbagebox 360 for almost a year now; therefore, I know how rubbish this console is. I just spent about 6 hours nonstop today at my friend’s house who bought a copy of GoW. I think GoW’s multiplayer is the best among all X360 games; however, the multiplayer is just mediocre when compared with Counter-strike Source, Day of Defeat Source, Call of Duty 2 (PC version only, X360 version is a total crap; full of lags, bad frame rate, so-so graphical quality, only 8 players for net mode, etc), Battlefield 2 and 2142. I decided that I’ll maybe rent it later, pass! Use of the button A is a joke, too. When you want to tumble away from close enemies because it’s context sensitive, you’ll sometimes move to the nearest wall instead, and then give an easy kill for your enemy. Graphical glitches are so prevail; the average frame rate is barely passable even when the actions are moderately intense; especially the character animation is too poor, you can’t even hit close enemies because their movements are so stuttering when they’re close to you – it’s like close enemies are appearing and disappearing every few feet; only 8 players for online is a rubbish just like Call of Duty 2. I say that GoW is the most advanced game on the Earth right now in terms of graphics and technology, period; yes that’s my opinion until newer games are released. Doom 3 was the most advanced game until Half Life 2 came out just 15 days later. I can give similar comparisons of hundreds of games here if you want. I’m 99% sure that GoW will be an instant hit in the market exactly like Perfect Dark Zero had been then GoW will be forgotten not long after exactly like PDZ had been. I’m also sure that this GoW will be very popular among trash like people who are criminals, lowly educated or etc; because this game is all about criminal soldiers, blood and gore. GoW is all about camping. Skilled game addicts know how to play online; they camp and shoot, again and again; when noobs come near them, skilled campers can get very easy kills by using shotguns or chainsaws. It’s so pathetic that game developers choose such names like Gears of War, and Nathan Hale. Every time when people hear the word Gears of War, they are reminded of God of War. Same goes for Hale; that’s why after Nathan Hale’s name was first released to the public, people all said this game will be a Halo killer.

I guess that's your review of the 360 and it's games. Too bad yours don't agree with everyone elses. The 360 is selling and has sold. Gears of War is currently living up to the hype. We'll let the sales do the talking. Why don't you sell that 360 that you supposdly have?
