Mum's the word for Eidos when the company was asked to comment about some highly suggestive info that had recently been discovered in the ESRB website regarding Tomb Raider: Anniversary. No, not THAT kind of suggestive, but the sort that says it may be coming to the Xbox 360.

Here's the deal: the ESRB website now currently lists five pieces of Tomb Raider: Anniversary content, specifically Croft Manor, Egypt, Greece, Lost City and Peru. Now, we don't want to get hopes up or anything, but doesn't that seem to hint that the content listed above might be released as separate episodes via an online service - perhaps something like Xbox Live?

There's something else that gives support to the idea. Tomb Raider: Anniversary is built with the Tomb Raider: Legend engine, used for the Xbox 360 version of that game. Going with that, it's not hard to imagine Lara bouncing her way onto Microsoft's next-gen console.

If there's a bright side to this bit of news, it's that they haven't completely shot down the idea of Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the Xbox 360 - so there may still be hope left. Updates about Lara's latest title in the franchise as we get them, so watch this space.

Do you guys have a think tank to make this stuff up?

Rumor? More like unfounded speculation!

Actually Jin Wu, it's already been confirmed to be coming to the Xbox 360. Take a look at the last paragraph. ;)
