EGM says "Hello" to Halo 3 next month

Halo 3 is coming to EGMHyperventilate, scream, shout, holler, and cry. Whatever it is you feel like doing, just don't die because EGM is coming out with a feature article for the FPS known as Halo 3 next month.

There's been a lot of mixed emotions regarding Bungie for a little while now. Almost everyone loves the Halo series, and Halo 3 is definitely something many gamers are looking forward to.

The shutdown of the Halogen mod after three years of development, however, managed to leave a sour taste in our mouths. This bitter aftertaste lingered when silent predictions and hypotheses were realized in the form of Halo Wars.

Let us hope they do right by gamers such as ourselves and restore some of the faith some gamers lost in the wake of the Halogen fiasco. Till next month, when they release this info, we'll keep watching Bungie closely for anything big they might spring on us during the interim.

I hardly fail too see what wrong Bungie did to gamers by shutting down some Halo mod project. They have an IP to protect.

I'll second what 'umm' said. While I think it was unfortunate that Halogen was shut down 3 years into the project, it should certainly have been expected (to happen at some point). And how can you say 'the bitter aftertaste lingered' upon the announcement of Halo Wars? I for one see nothing wrong (quite the contrary) with a new Halo game. Halo is Bungie's IP. It's not like they're creating their own mod for C&C; they're making an entirely new Xbox 360 game.

thats an overstatement, I doubt halo is that popular. Why do you think most never bother with an xbox after trying it out.

I love Halo but no one can assume that a almost everybody loves it just because you do. I repeat not everyone likes what you like, though its common sense but somehow that didnt cross the topic creator's mind.
