EGM: Gears of War 3 pegged for Fall, 2010 |

The latest out of the rumor mill from EGM has the next and final installation to the Gears of War trilogy pegged for Fall of 2010. Though it's not so much a rumor as it is an accepted expectation.The original Gears of War game was released November of 2006. GoW 2 followed two years later, also released on November. It wouldn't be surprising if Epic will gun for the holidays of 2010 with Gears 3.
What would be surprising is if Microsoft will stick with the Xbox 360 for that long. It's already lasted longer than the original Xbox did.

If windows xp stay and supported longer. So can 360
I mean Windows XP stay like what? 8 years and STILL going strong. With the NXE, microsoft can now suprise us with all kinds of goods. So in the feature, if something happen to your disc drive, you still got hard drive :P and cross your fingers and hope that it can read that theirs a disc in there.
I predict that Microsoft will either have GOW3 or Halo 4 as a launch title for their next console. It would be smart to have a game that will guarantee to sell millions of copies as a launch title because it would also sell millions of consoles with it. The original xbox was around for 4 years before the 360 came out and by 2010 the 360 will have been around for 5 years. That said I am sure Microsoft will milk the 360 for every penny they can get and they wont completely forget about it when the new console comes out like they did with the original xbox.
You actually think the NXE is a good thing?
yes because it's a lot easier to search for a game. like I did not know there was Classic Sonic game.
