EA Sports sticks it to you with the NHL 08 demo |
Ó
It's time to strap on a pair of skates and hit the ice as the hockey season is finally in full swing with EA Sports' NHL 08 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3). Players can finally get into the fast and furious action now that the demo has been made available over at Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo throws you in the middle of the action of the third period, in a 5-on-5 match between either the Anaheim Ducks or the Ottawa Senators. Players can now try out the new Skill Stick System, raising the level of control on the ice with this latest iteration to the video game hockey dynasty.
The game also sports a challenge to newbies, as well as veterans with the new On the Fly A.I. So if you think you can shut down the offense with the good ol' trap, don't be surprised if you can't pull it off a second time around as the game will be sure to adjust to those kind of tactics.
With these kinds of dynamics going for the game, NHL 08 is sure to live up to it's tagline: "No two games are the same."
