madden07According to IGN the Madden NFL 07 for Xbox 360 title will have the "Create a Superstar" mode. Many fans were disappointed when the game was shown at E3 and EA announced that Superstar mode would not be in the game, but it looks like EA had a change of heart.

"Personally, as gamers, this is a mode we didn't want to be without," said producer David Ortiz. "We had to have it. This is good stuff. So as the on-field stuff started to progress, we knew we could add it in toward the end. We saw the reaction from people hoping it was in there, but we couldn't talk about it yet. We had already started talking about putting it in, and that reaction only encouraged us to try harder and put in the extra hours to get it in. But as gamers on the team, we wanted that Superstar experience if we could pull it off."

If you're unfamiliar with NFL Superstar Hall of Fame mode, it's a new and improved version of the Superstar feature originally found in the current gen versions of Madden NFL 06. The goal of the 07 mode is to create your own player, then only play as that player from his position-specific camera angles throughout his career (you can play any position except kicker or punter in next-gen), eventually trying to earn enough stats and influence in the league to be named to the Hall of Fame.
