Duke Nukem - Image 1There's some good news for Xbox 360 fans out there who grew up playing the Duke Nukem series and have been missing it since the last iteration. The most popular member of the franchise may be coming soon to Xbox Live Arcade.

Developer 3D Realms, who created the franchise, confirmed that they're currently talking to Microsoft about the project which will have Duke Nukem 3D ported to the Xbox Live Arcade.

"Truth be told, we've talked to Microsoft about it and have some people that would port it," says George Broussard of 3D Realms. "Just waiting on the good word from Microsoft to continue."

The idea of getting to play this classic on Xbox Live Arcade is a prospect worth placing a close eye on. That notorious Duke attitude never gets old, and it's bound to be a hit on the online service. We'll keep you updated on this one. Still no news on Duke Nukem Forever, by the way.
