There's no official announcement from id Software yet, although it's apparently expected to come later today. Preliminary reports say that the game will feature a whole new episode, online multiplayer, and four-player split-screen.
Doom 2 is being ported for the Xbox 360 by Nerve Software, the same team behind the Doom XBLA port.

I have this on Iphone, Wii, GBA, DS, PS2, Xbox, and PC.
Finally I can play it on Xbox 360!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
Do they all have 5.1 Surround Sound and four player split screen as well?!
