Don't panic: Halo 3 Internal Beta coming up

Well, there's some good news and bad news here. The good news is that the beta for Halo 3 is coming along swimmingly and will probably be seen on Xbox Live as early as this coming weekend. The bad news is that early beta isn't for the public.

Bungie's doing some preventive maintenance to avoid a fan riot of sorts for this coming weekend. According to them, they'll be performing the Microsoft internal beta test for Halo 3 this weekend. If you see a gamertag indicating someone playing the Halo 3 beta, there's a pretty good chance it's someone hired by Microsoft to do some final testing before the public beta on May 16.

On the bright side, gamers who're a part of the public beta will be pleased to see a somewhat more polished beta of the game than what the folks from Microsoft are seeing, so just be patient.

at first i thought it meant the beta tester would be gettting it early,but then i was wrong....but thats awesome they are testing it before they give it to us
