DOAX2: Famitsu scans and the "sports-game" category |

Xboxyde has recently posted several Famitsu scans that feature Team Ninja's Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. Nothing really new in it, but you guys would probably like to check them out. You can click on the thumbnails to get a more useful "zoomed in" view of the scans.
A nice thing to note here is that most of the "gameplay" featured in these scans don't even involve volleyball. I mean why does the mainstream even bother to categorize this as a sports game? This is obviously a very focused form of male entertainment. By the way I was talking about the Jet-ski feature when I said "gameplay" earlier. Uh, yeah... uh right.
Seriously though, from the previews we've seen, the Jet-ski action in this game looks like it is set to offer a gaming experience a bit more rewarding than one that you could (or would like to) play with one hand. This game could also provide the lonely with the assistance they need to feel better about themselves.
Anyway, if this game does make it into the sports shelf, then we should probably start having a different definition for the shooter genre. While we're at it, you also might find these particular pics "useful".
