Chantal “Chantaljoy” Moshakos (third from right) was petrified the first time she played Live! for being called out for being a girl. She was half right! Half the guys started "kissing my ass" the other half told her to get off because she was girl. Overall, she felt totally embarrassed by comments like “shouldn't I be buying shoes and drinking frappes with my girlfriends at the mall?”
Melissa “Elegyofhope” Castillo, Overlord of Unreal Films, (left) was playing training and this guy on her team and he found out she was a girl and he was like "hey baby, why are you playing with these losers when you can be playing with a real man!" Well, she had 16 kills and he had 4 at that point. The second lowest of the boys on her team.
There you have it. A few tales of discrimination. We can't say for sure if this is the norm or rare but unfortunate cases. And if its true that boy gamers hate girl gamers, we can't tell you why. Any girl-hating boy gamers out there care to explain?

i don't care who i play against as long as they play fair good work to all the girls getting involved in gaming!
If more girls are playing online then great. i was beat all the time on F.E.A.R. by a girl i got upset but not mad i didn't make fun of her or anything. and i didn't care i just continued. more girls playing is better. i dont see why guys get so angry if there beat by a girl i dont care. good sports man ship.
when a guy does that to a girl on live or online the guy has:
A.- never talked to a girl before
B.- Is a nerd
C.- Is gay
D.- All above

Everyone gets made fun of onxbox live, no matter if you are a guy, girl, gay, Lesbian, someone will make fun of you. If a girl is playing on live that surprises me because I have only seen one girl online, in my online life. PLUS THE GIRL CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY.
notice how every complaint is with halo 2....that game is horrid...stop playing for a month then try and play it again...i sold my xbox the game is so ghetto....making play host is worst thing bungie could of done......the women i know that play CS:S are worshiped....ladies move on from halo the game is crap....

My sister kicks my ass at Mario Kart DS all the *****ing time. I don't call her out for being a girl. My policy is as long as you can play a good game, your alright. In Xbox live, I probably should put a gag order on myself for cussing. I don't care who you are, it doesn't make a difference. I would say that there are more gamer females in WoW than in most games I've played. One of the girl's in my guild (Elune on server Eitrigg), is by far, one of the best priests we have. Full tier 2 set, along with the best trinkets, rings, and staves in the game. She blows my hunter out of the water any day. Her being a girl doesn't make her any less of a gamer than the next. Of course we joke around with her, but we would never harrass her just for being a girl that likes WoW. Not to mention, she looks just as sweet as the 4 girls shown above.

Well to whoever said giving out their gamer tags so they can be harrassed good job....most of these girls have been shown on every website/gameing show in the world because they are good for the marketing. Wouldn't you play if you had girls this good on your game? There not going to show the "ugly" fat chicks playing the games now are they.

Just what is the point of this anyway... No offense I am by no means a woman hater but lets face it we all meet ass holes in any game we play.
