Ó

Polygonal boobs make me nervous, there I said it. If you're wondering what on earth that comment has to do with Capcom's zombie infested Dawn of the Dead inspired survival horror game, Dead Rising, then just have a gander at these screenies. Honestly though they don't look that hot, a next gen game this is not.

And I suppose PS3 will be able to push that many zombies at once and make it look "next-gen."

Just keep telling yourself that.

... when I read the part about boobs, I first looked at the grandma. Scared the crap out of me.

Then I saw the "other" women, and all was well again.

Why do you have to make about PS3 VS Xbox? Two the game's I linked to were Xbox games. Also, yes I'm sure the PS3 can push that many zombies at once and make it look next gen, and I'm sure the 360 can as well.

who cares about ps3 vs xb360, what irks me is the "...a next gen game this is not."

The amount of detail is impressive to say the least, top that on an engine that can have how many zombies on it at once and going by the video released a few weeks ago still be able to push a smooth framerate. Yeah your right, a next gen game it is not, my psone can do a whole lot better.

No need to get snarky, whether you think this is next gen enough is subjective, the comment was meant as such. Personally I don't think developers should get such an easy ride, and I stand by my affirmation that the game looks kinda crappy from a visual standpoint.

Have you seen the 720p trailer on a HD set? I have, on a 50" Samsung DLP.

I'm going to assume, no.

The game is great looking, and the game play looks even more fun. A next gen game, this IS.

# im with "not"Guest 2006-03-21 05:48
the character models look decent...and it SHOULD be able to puch lots of characters on screen at once...isnt that why we paid a paycheck for it?

but look at the details in those shots. the tape looks as round as the flintstone's front tire and the one inside the clothing store (and a few others) look like max payne's stock room filler guy showed up to work on this. but the player models are pretty sweet. i just hope they keep their pants on and really put some realism into it. m2c
