Dead Rising 2 confirmation from Capcom still pending |
Ó
Good news for gamers, bad news for zombies. Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu in an issue mentioned something about Dead Rising 2. Because of the success of the first iteration of the game, Dead Rising, rumor has been circulating that there might possibly be a sequel currently under development for the Xbox 360. We've also caught word that creator Keiji Inafune said Dead Rising 2 "is in talks". So, don't get your hopes up just yet.Details (meaning confirmations and denials) are still scarce, but more information could come via Capcom's Gamers' Day event on Thursday. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled back for more info, so keep checking back here for updates. As for the zombies out there, well, we don't suggest going back to the mall just yet.
Update: Our source for this bit of information changed its entry from "Dead Rising confirme" to "Dead Rising 2 confirme [Rumeur]" so we opted to update our article, too to reflect the changes made.

Like 60% of the console games that have ever existed, it has save points. Just why is this so hard for so many people to grasp?
I swear, it's these "..but I have to save anywhere!" types..

I'm hoping for the gameplay to be more free roaming in this one. Have like a small city, where you can go into houses and take weapons anywhere in the city. Hit up the local sports store. Things like that. Take a lawnmower sitting in a yard for a spin. I'm also hoping there is a type of autosave feature. Or more save points than before. I dunno why, but the way the save points were in the game always bugged me...
Right now All I'm concerned about is fixing my 360's damn ring of death. God I hate that thing lol. And yeah, the towel trick DOES actually work for a little while. Amazing eh?

I think that it would be sweet to continue. Like in the true ending it said somthing about outbreaks all accross Amarica, from the 50 kid bombs? Well mabey you play a survivor just as the outbreak hits your town and a fence is built around it and you have to find a way out!!! And bring back survivor mode and make a freeplay mode as well, that would be sweet!!!(Freepl ay no missions time or anything!0 And I would like to see some Monsterouse mutated humans and animals like fish and stuff!!!Sorry I do so like to drone!
