We've seen the video featuring the how Hayden Tenno's glaive weapon was developed for Digital Extremes' Dark Sector, and now here's a new video clip describing how the game's nitty-gritty atmosphere came about, using what they call the "Art of Violence."

According to James Schmalz, the setting features a nice contrast between the contemporary, present-day setting and the "wilder" infection factor that somehow twists the otherwise ordinary backdrop.

As for Hayden himself, Dark Sector's animation director Geoff Crooks explained that they created Hayden in such a way that gamers can be more at ease in hunting opponents, rather than going through the game and being cautious in case of random enemy encounters. "We want Hayden to be the predator," he said.

Check out the video to learn more about Dark Sector's art of violence!
