Custom Xbox Soundtracks on Xbox 360

Most Xbox gamers may not be aware that the custom soundtrack feature of legacy Xbox can work on your Xbox 360. Thanks to the discovery of one curious 360GameSaves forum member, we now know it's possible. Just by simply transferring the music and "st.db" music database file to your Xbox 360 hard drive, you will no longer miss the cool custom sounds of your first Xbox games.

Here's how to do it:

On the Xbox, soundtracks are stored in "/E/TDATA/FFFE0000/".
You need to ftp the entire directory "FFFE0000" off your modded Xbox, then connect your Xbox 360 HDD to your PC and put the "FFFE0000" directory into "Partition 3/Compatibility/Xbox1/TDATA/" with Xplorer360.

This is indeed a great discovery and who knows, maybe this functionality will be added in future 360 Dashboard updates.

it...*sigh* its not for... *sigh* if you play xbox games on your 360 you wont be able to use your music you've ripped to your HD, if you do this you'll be putting your music in the same place it "would" be on a normal xbox, thus the game will be able to read it and let you use it as a custom sound track.. its quite simple really...

I think there needs to be an iq test on this sight so that people with an IQ under 75 are not allowed to clutter these comments sections with stupid questions..Thats what the forums are form. remember "there are no stupid questions, Just stupid people!" -Mr Garrison
