If you've already tried out the demo Namco Bandai's Culdcept Saga on the Xbox Live then you may already have your ideas on the "perfect book" strategy. To help you out, the developers from OmiyaSoft have outlined the Book Creation Overview for players to review on their IGN blog.

The game basically plays like a fusion of Monopoly and Magic. Even the strategy of the game plays out similarly in terms of tactics. Because of which, the title of this article is actually a misnomer - there is no "perfect book" strategy according to the devs.

The developers mention that the game adjusts itself according to your opponents and the board you are currently playing. For beginners, you can start with one of the preset books and work your way into your own deck strategy. You can always try to build your books with a ratio of 5 creatures to 2 items to 3 spells for a balanced build.

Hopefully, we'll be seeing more updates from the developers through the holidays. For TCG and board game fans, we'll be sure to keep our eyes out for more information on Culdcept Saga as we get them.
