So said the email: "As part of our continuing Crysis 2 development we will be performing a multiplayer test starting very soon. For this test we will be inviting various community members to take part and help us push the game to its limits so we can make any adjustments necessary and ensure that we deliver the gameplay experience we know everyone wants to see."

If you're a "valued community" member (read: loyal and frequent player), then chances are you will be receiving this email. They did not say as to when the closed beta will be commencing though, but we'll be letting you in on that soon enough. By the way, it's going to be exclusive to Xbox 360 palyers. If you're a member of the MyCrisis site, then you can head on there and register if you want to be one of the testers too.
