Crackdown demo causes some Xbox Live blockage |

And update you we did. A few days after telling you guys about the availability of Crackdown's Xbox Live demo, it seems that you'll be having a hard time first before being able to really enjoy the game. Why is that? The demo is already out, the only problem is it might take you quite a while for you to download it.
Apparently, the Crackdown demo is causing some blockage over at Xbox Live. The demo, which weighs around 1.24 GB, will let you take a look around and explore half the district that belongs to one of the three power gangs, the Los Muertos gang. Access to both single and co-op modes are available in the demo. Well, you can't really blame people for getting it - it's free and jampacked, what more could you ask?
Oh and to boost your self-esteem, leveling up in the demo has been made easier to accommodate the 30-minute time limit. What can we say, we guess a hackneyed "patience is virtue" would do.

i have been downloading this demo for about 3 hours now and i have a adsl+2 connection. i think all 5 million xbox live subscribers are downloading this demo........whoa !!!!!!
I woke up at 5 am est and my download finish after about 1 and a half hour later.

I also have a ADSL+2 connection just took me a hour to download. Not really keen on the game but could grow on me.
i started it around 9am... took just under 1 hour on my 5mbps cable connection. it's pretty nice game... but not one I'll be buying. Saints Row is still looking to be the better open ended game so far.

This game is amazing. Saint's Row doesnt even compare...I mean you can chuck cars at people! CHUCK CARS! Amazing! Its everything I had hoped for and some.

it may not be you but hey the damage is done, like I always said, as long as the content succesfully deliver, its all good. I usually dont like those GTA-like action game, but this one allow me to build my character, Look at how high they jump after 2 lvl up. Cant wait for retail.
Nothing crashed on XBL it had slowdown because the amount of people who were downloading the FREE demo, bet you have great fun on PS3 server you cant even download and do anything else at the same time LOL no mulitasking cheap setup.
HOW?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I have let it download for over 5 hours and it was only at 19%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
