Crackdown 2 dated

Microsoft has finally dated Crackdown 2, the highly explosive sequel from one of the best sandbox-style third-person shooter on the Xbox 360 from Ruffian Games. Along with the announcement, the devs has also released the first video documentary of the game, titled “Fun with Friends,” a three-part vid series exploring different facets of the game.

 

 

Crackdown 2 will be available in North America on July 6, Asia, Australia and New Zealand on July 8, and Europe on July 9.

i might pick it up... if realtime worlds was still the dev, it would be a definitely.

i'm just hoping ruffian doesn't do what obsidian did to KoTOR2. it wasn't a bad game, but it lacked the bioware touch the first game had.

Ruffian has most of the original crackdown developers. They are pretty much down the street from Realtime Worlds.

I'm loving everything I've seen except for the wing suit. I was fine with having just the jumping mechanics in the original. Flying is going to take some of the impact away from that methinks.
