Could This Be Gears of War's Big News?

We have been bombarding you with news about this "Big Announcement" for Gears of War, which originated from the alleged GearsForum announcement by Epic Games honcho Mark Rein up to the devious messages from "MFenix" that Xbox Live users have been receiving.

Now, could the Gears of War big announcement have something to do with its release date? Because if it is about that, then too bad, because online game retailers spoiled the surprise. Large game retailers like Amazon and EBGames have updated their listings - EBGames posted a November 1 release date, while Amazon has November 7. EBGames and Gamestop also listed a special Collector's Edition, which will cost 10 bucks more than the ordinary variant.

Is this really the "big announcement" or is it just one of the interesting things that will happen with Gears of War in the coming months? Your guess is as good, if not better, than ours.

60-70 was the same as oblivion and i think that did plenty well for itself. no idea if i will get it, but it isn't price alone that decides that.

Im sick of whiney ass people giving it all that about game prices. Not being funny lads but we play £50 a game here and thats before any special edition packs come out adding more cost to the game.



£50 = $94

Ive had my "Gears Of War" pre-ordered since febuary and even then my pre-order is for the limited collectors edition of the game so this cannot be the news as its so old!
