We don't know if it's human nature or something, but some people have their biases as regards controllers. For some reason people would have their "favorite controller." Kind of like how some athletes would have their lucky (unwashed) jockstrap. We're guessing it's a superstition thing, how some people would prefer to use this or that controller because they would always win.
The problem is, if you've got four or more controllers at home, how would you decipher your "Lucky Joe" if they're all the default smoky-white? How do you tell them apart? Customization, that's how. Customizing a controller just makes it look ghetto and it dosen't match with your overall system layout so why do it???

Chrome = fingerprint hell... and translucent just sucks
i think it's pretty cool. steping out of the norm and being able to customize something is awsome. i know i want the crome, you can always wipe it off after your done and hang it on the wall for decoration. and you can check yourself out in it when you got a hot girl over to make sure you dont have anything in your teeth.
