The wait is over. All hell has broken lose. Kane is back. The Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars demo has finally been released. The file is downloadable exclusively on FilePlanet (check the Read link below) and worth a little over 1GB of your downloading time.
Now some of you 360-owners must be in utter heat, waiting for this game to be released; the reason why we're cross-posting this over to the 360 blog is so that some of you guys might want to try it out on your PCs as well. At least that way, you'd get to experience first-hand what exactly you're getting yourself into. Although we know that control functions aren't the same on the PC and 360, for a C&C fan, any form of contact with the third installment is way beyond fine.
The demo includes a tutorial map, two single-player missions, a cutscene, and a skirmish map. Not a lot to work with, but hey!, the U.S. release of the full game is just a month away: March 28. This demo will sure tide over the wait. So, without further ado, may we introduce you to the ubiquitous Read link below.

Let me just tell you that the game sucks - if u liked the old C+C series produced by westwood; u'll hate this game.
I liked C+C Generals + Zero Hour - 1000% better than Tiberium Wars.
The graphics are very bad - unless maybe u have the ultimate gaming PC + set the details to max - then it may look half decent.
The UI is also very poor - the whole game looks like it was made by some guy at home - very cheap looking - videos look awesome, thats about it
Trust me - dont bother downloading - 1.2GB of waste (3GB to install)

Thought the graphics were actually quite good and the AI is very good compaired to all the other C&C games. I could see my units picking off the more destructive units first before getting the smaller units.
I also thought the demo was brilliant...I've been playing for the last 2 hours....Lots of play if you want to take your time.
Personally the game feel nice and i enjoyed the demo more than i have of supreme commander the full game! :) lol
I'm glad i preordered this now...roll on the end of march :)

Plus - they've changed the mouse buttons - WHY?
Here's hoping a better demo comes out on the XBLM.
