That is tres creepy, Mr. Kucan. You know we love bonus content. Aside from the GameStop preorder deal we found earlier, Electronic Arts announced that they will also ship a bonus-laden Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Kane Edition to stores by March 2007. By the way, we are making this press announcement as Nod soldiers hold rifles to our heads. I hate Nod...

Anyway, for plopping down US$ 59.99 for the edition with Kane's lovely fingerprints all over it, as opposed to the US$ 49.99 MSRP for the plain-Jane C&C3, you get:
  • an exclusive bonus DVD featuring a behind the scenes documentary, deleted scenes and a blooper reel from the live action video shoots,
  • a series of gameplay strategy videos from the game designers themselves,
  • five exclusive new multiplayer maps,
  • three unique skins for one unit each of the three factions of the game, and
  • five wallpapers.
Also, the announcement says that "C&C3 will also be available in 2007 for the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system." Hopefully that's clear enough for those who still doubt previous reports that EALA is bringing the game to the Microsoft console, but it would have been nice if we've gotten a more concrete date from the devs; perhaps something narrowed down to a month? We don't know if Xbox 360 users will be getting a Kane edition of their own, though.
