Command and Conquer 3 screens look alien... and Xbox 360 to us |
Ó
We don't care what Kane says about Command and Conquer's new alien faction. The Scrin are eeeeeviiiiil. Like, look at these screenshots showing off more of the aliens in Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Those two slug-looking gas bags in the background look like they stepped out of a Starship Troopers movie, and they come out of a dark portal that would make Warcraft's Dark Portal look squeamish by comparison, and we'll bet half of the Scrin population don't practice good public toilet manners. End of civilization, we tell you. Those aliens look just as ominous in the Xbox 360 version of the game. Yep, Electronic Arts and their LA studio, Electronic Arts Los Angeles (EALA), have released more screenshots of the console version of the game. Oh, how this will spark the usual debates about console vs. PC games, but at the end of the day, there's only one thing that really matters.
When you're facing the wrong end of a Scrin slug-looking gas bag, the only thing you can do is pray.

BIG NEWS WHICH WILL BURN ASS OF XO6 FANS IS THAT PS3 IS RUNNING GEARS OF WAR SO XO6 SUCKS AND NOW IT IS DECLARED BY ME THAT PS3 WINS HERE IS LINK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAgGeyNmoWI HA HA HA HA NOW WII IS NEXT
you are stupid
OMG LOL what a fool, looks like he must of been having a daydream whilst on the PC.(what is XO6 some sort of code?). Anyway back to this article this is one game I really liked on the PC and it is shaping up nice for the 360 I hope its as good (or better ) than the PC version.
I really wish they would include KB/M support for this game or else it wont be worth it for the 360 version. Maybe using the camera? Its obvious they lowered the unit count on the Xbox360 version, probably to make it easier to maintain your units. Now, only if they provide info on Xbox360 vs PC matches.
Why would you wish it had KB/M support ? you have a PS3 we all know that. GO AWAY we dont give a ***** about your 360 v PC trouble making as you do that all the time with PS3 v 360.
Vietone sort yourself out mate, go look carefully about the 360 keyboard and mouse 3rd party interface, the great news is 360 owners dont want it they are game players not cheats (still you would not know that as you have no cheat protected Xbox live have you) .
Bloody Hell have you seen the release price of ONE game on the PS3 in Australia !!!! Fooking Hell ,now wonder Vietone is posting here..................
Yay the camera is used very well in this game, its going to be an excellent game .
LOL buy Two PS3 games at RRP and get a PS3 Free, it must be on the way.
Pc pwns xbox360 version, look at those screen shots and there only half of units compare to pc version
there's only one shot of the PC version having more units... that doesn't really prove anything
Yes the PS3 is a ripoff here in Australia! $999 AUD BUT! The games 3rd party are $120 AUD, and $100 AUD 1st party. At release EVERY 360 game cost $120, so I guess the PS3 does have cheaper games at launch.
Now its obvius that the PC version will look better than the 360 version - I mean its a console :P ! More units on the screen - hardly - as the visual differences on the 360 version will mean the same population cap - no slowdown. One thing that worries me is the dumbing down of C&C. I mean history has show us that when a great PC franchise goes to console its usually a disaster - Deus Ex, Theif, Rainbow 6 ect. ect. I dont want that to happen to C&C3 or im switching to Supreme Commander. Also the 360's controls are a massive limitation. Seriously how the hell can you properly hotkey and 'micro' which is a HUGE part of C&C. Not to mention quick click ordering - of units... BFME2's controls were okay - not great - but compared to KB/M sheeesh....... And I hope there isnt 360 vs PC over live (shouldent be), because the console gamers would get slaughtered, and that means less people playing online :( Ah well fingers crossed this isnt a flop.
