Bungie Studios recently conducted a multiplayer beta testing for upcoming video game Halo 3. Based from the feedback provided by the company, the experience was really helpful to its developers in improving the game. Good thing for FPS lovers, the same experience will be offered by Activision and Infinity Ward for the Xbox 360 build of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

As much as this is good news, gaming cite CVG has confirmed with Activision that the said beta testing will only be open to U.S. residents and not in UK, or the rest of Europe for that matter. The said site tried to contact Activision but its representative was "unable to elaborate".

The multiplayer beta, furthermore, will begin later this month and both Activision and Infinity Ward hope that this is going to be "the best multiplayer experience of the year". The representative has mentioned that an official statement regarding the beta testing details, as well as why it's only being offered in the U.S., will be released soon.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will also be available on the PlayStation 3 and Games for Windows platforms. It is scheduled to ship this Holiday season.

yeah that's fine, but how do we go about getting this Beta? Is there special criteria for getting in, like Halo 3? Do we have to register on a site? Or will any old schmo be able to download it on the marketplace?
