Jeff Bell, Microsoft Vice President of Global Marketing, was interviewed by Major Nelson about the Xbox 360 and E3 when he slipped (or was it a slip?) info about Halo 3 having four person cooperative multiplayer.There have been rumors before about a four-player co-op that started when the 7th Columnist blog was looking through the Beta code and found lines indicative of four-player multiplayer. It remained a rumor because even if it was true for the Beta version, it doesn't mean it'll reach the final one.
During Jeff Bell's interview though, he gave out an indirect confirmation of the four-player co-op. With the release of Halo 3 coming fast, we could assume that if there's smoke, there's definitely fire.
The interview was posted on the Xbox.com, but for those of you who would rather read than listen, here's what Jeff Bell let slip near the end of the interview:
That's why I became such a fanboy of Halo 3, well, Halo generally, was the cooperative play. You know my 18 year old and I, we played together. And you know rather than playing against each other we had to learn to play as a team ... Now, we're really looking forward to playing with my three sons all together in Halo 3.

haze is doing it why not halo 3. this would be so cool.
i'm hoping for 4 player co-op > so me & my 3 cousins can play through campain on Legendary :D
when halo the movie come out cd its only coming out on blu ray because fox is making the movie and fox is owned by sony entertainment.
he's not talking about multiplayer because he said co-op. CO-OP!!! p.s. i really hope there is 4 way co-op because i'm tired of having to switch out w/ my friends every time i die.

maybe you can search who sells more game,the last metal gear, or halo2 and see who owns who...
i love Halo but i see them making them way to many mistakes. they seem to be doing the exact opposite of GOW but with similiarities. GOW achievments= 100 headshots, 100 curb stomps, 100 tags, etc. Halo= 10 headshots, 10 sticks, 10 snipes. thats too easy up it. GOW Co-op- 2 players halo= 4 4 is to damn much, its fun just u and someone else, its easier to control and no whats going on. im not a fanboy of GOW, tell you the truth im not to fond o it. but halo stop being afraid to copy them on some issues, youre going the wrong way!
