Clarification: Halo 3 invites on 'initial shipment' of Crackdown, sez Microsoft |
Ó

After assuring gamers that EVERY copy of RealTime Worlds' Crackdown will have an invitation to participate in the Halo 3 beta test, Microsoft has released a little clarification regarding said beta invite in said game. Apparently, only the initial shipment of Crackdown will include the Halo 3 beta invite.
According to a post made by CPaladino on GamerscoreBlog, "The initial shipment of Crackdown at retail will include access to the Halo 3 beta. The 'initial shipment' is pretty huge, so there will be enough to go around."
There you go folks. Initial shipment. Remember those words and make sure you grab a copy when Crackdown launches on February 20 if you want to make it into the Halo 3 beta. Hey, even if you don't get the Beta invite, at least you still have a great game on your hands.

"you still have a great game on your hands." I wish... the demo was terrible.
The demo wasn't too good.
i thought the demo was amazing leaping from roof to roof matrix style then throwing a coach down a street and squashing everyone! i reckon its definately better than GTA
Hey! I liked the demo. I wouldn't say it's a fantastic game, though. It's ridiculous. You can jump over buildings and throw semis across a block and run faster than cars. It's just silly. But is it fun? If you ask me, hell yes. This is a bit of guilty pleasure, to be sure, but I think I'm really going to enjoy playing it, up until the Halo 3 Beta opens up :D
The Halo 3 beta opens when Crackdown is released... I also loved the demo, the people who didn't probably just suck at it. Here's a hint to enjoy it: as soon as you start playing collect as many Agility Orbs as you can find to get your Agility skill maxed out, you can jump like 200 feet and run as fast as cars. It's awesome
Halo 3 beta is in spring
