Can't say I didn't see this one coming. Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360 has been leaked on torrent sites. Must be rough for Capcom - it was only last month when Street Fighter IV was also leaked out. How many leaked games has that been for the console? I lost count.
Not that you people would appreciate this sort of information anyway because none of you would even dream of downloading a copy (right?) but the download is 6.71 GB huge. But you are too rightfully outraged that someone uploaded a cracked version to care, yes?
There's a leak in there somewhere, Bob:

Its Mircosofts fault for shipping there new red Xbox too soon, that comes with resident evil 5. Would holding off for 2 weeks killed them?

just about every high profile title has been leaked at least a few days before street date...
it's the fault of the "street date"... if the game was just released once it was shipped to stores, these would be few and far between. in the age of the internet companies can't maintain control like they want to...
with games like sf4 and re5, leaks don't really hurt sales... just look at sf4 selling out almost everywhere anyway.
Halo 3 and GTA4 were both leaked weeks before launch and that didn't stop them from selling like hot cakes.
if that were the case, then the ps2 wouldn't of had that huge library of games...
ps2 piracy was huge and the system itself was "*****ty" compared to the xbox.
no publisher can ignore the system with the larger install base, without serious financial compensation. the investors wouldn't be happy...
It proves a lot of gamers are classy enough not to steal there games.
I could get but I already preordered the PS3 Limited Edition. I'm one of those people that buy the games that I want no matter how much I dislike it. Capcom should be happy that because of the first couple RE games I want to buy this one. I have to finish the series no matter what and own the games. Yes I have all of them!!!!

was leaked like 2 days ago but it's unplayable for the moment because the NXE update is on the video partition so there's one more wave so the 360 won't boot it for steatlh reasons. So far 2 games actually had NXE updates on them which are HAWX and MLB2K9. Which is weird that only two games and games like Halo Wars and Resident Evil 5 don't have it especially since Microsoft said they would put it on the disc on the release of Gears of War 2.
OH and btw, considering the game is only 6.71GB, I'm sure it sucks on both consoles. The SD Resident Evil 4 was 4GB so if an HD game like Resident Evil 5 is only 6.71GB it's gotta suck. Thank you Microsoft, because of your idiotic cheapskate decision to not include an HD media drive on your 3*****60, now even us PS3 owners have to suffer. I hope you all burn in hell you scumbags.
It's 6.71GB because that's the 360 copy. You can be the PS3 copy will be bigger. That's the benefit of a high-capacity disc, I guess.

the game is 6.71gb therefore it must be awful, if it was 6.72 maybe it would be game of the year but 6.71 means it will be like devil may cry 2, how can you argue with this logic?
6.71GB isn't a lot of data for a game. Considering the 360 reads DVD9's which would allow for about 8.57GB of content. But as I recall, RE5's cutscenes are mostly in-game which would require little space considering it's saving all the space not being used by the HD cutscenes
But yeah, I do feel that the 360 is holding down this generation. Most PS3 exclusives look better or the PS3 version of many games suffer from crappy ports like many console to PC transitions.
ok... how did Capcom betray Sony? Capcom was never a huge Sony-oriented company ever. Now, the fact that Square Enix is having love children with Microsoft these days is a tiny bit more of a betrayal, considering how a lot of they're big franchises blossomed on PS consoles, but it's not that huge of a deal seeing as they've only released garbage on the 360(through no fault of the console itself).
Hope those fanboy accusation aren't for me because I have both systems and I just happen to like my PS3 more. I don't bash on anything on the M$ except for RRoDs and their business strategies. I think that they have great business minds even greater than $ony.

of the 360 using DVD9, games are limited to less than 7GB of actual game data. I believe it has something to do with proprietary code which has to be included on all retail discs. I have never seen a 360 game on a single disc bigger than around 6.8GB.
Someone should tell qj.net that EVERY SINGLE GAME FOR XBOX 360 IS LEAKED BEFORE ITS STREET DATE on torrent sites. This will NEVER stop until Microsoft wants it to stop, the same way Sony did......
