CES 2009: Microsoft previews new Xbox Live game, Boku |

The game, formerly known as Boku, basically allows you to build your own world, or even create your own game. It has 200 different game-creation building blocks, but the PR promises it to be a simple pick-up-and-play game for anyone from ages 7 to 70.
It looks fun, though I'm not entirely sure just how much fun it'll be. If all you do is create worlds and run around, I'll stick to SimCity.

The way its been since the beginning, Microsoft copying sony
microsoft is copying sony. sure. keep telling yourself that with the "PS" button on your controller and the PSN "Store" now with movie downloading abilities.
Not to mention those buttons that mysteriously have turned into triggers on the PS3. :)
Next the PS fanboi's will be acusing MS of stealing the idea of putting games on an optical disc.
But yeah this is a bit of knock off of little big planet, it just annoys me when PS fanboi's can't see that sony isn't much better.

Rare complete lost the plot when they made that game. Actually I think Rare was MS' single most stupid purchase in their history. They haven't made one decent game for the 360 all of their stuff is stuck back in the mid 90s. I'm sure there's some nostalgia there for old N64 fans but not for anyone that only played the N64 for goldeneye.
Dont forget Sony copy MUSIC IN HARD DRIVE'S CONSOLES.

obviously they got the "create"-idea off LBP, no denying that,,, but it's a different system (or so it seem) i could understand if they had called it BIGLittleUniver ves, and made the charaters cute little robots,, and made it a side scroller.... they didn't... i just think veryone should take it easy...
also to add my personal oppinion, boku doesn't look interesting at all (not for me), but LBP does.
lol to return to idea-ripping.... SONY were the 1st ones to make a FLAT screen, rather than that bubly screen... and then everyone began making that,,, though now we have flat-screens (LCD/PLASMA HD-TVs) and the screen are still flat...
just pointing out that everyone copies everyone.. SONY made a FLAT screen,, and then everyone else did too. so nothing wrong in that. good day
you do all realize that, SONY doesn't necesarily decide to add all those things that MS has: the user does!
like many many users who have a PS3 once had a X360, so they think "could be cool if they added that",, so they begin to talk about adding in-game music etc..
also peeople make request' to SONY for them to add things... like the triggers.....just saying that it's not always the company' fault!
because if they didn't do what the user want, then they would all leave! which makes it seem pretty obvious why all the current consoles have alot from eachother!!
so you are theoraticly right that the controller layout is from MS, but that might just be the fans that wanted it to be so... i mean.. the fans disliked the boomerang controller, so SONY changed it into whta we have today, the traditional controller, with X-abilitys

1st they copy the playstation 2 with their xbox, than the wii with their new interface, even using avatars like the Miis in new arcade games, and now they copy sony's little big planet. Wow, I never liked M$, but this is beginning to be really lame.

the ps3 is more of an xbox clone than the xbox is a ps2 clone... internal storage, check. built-in networking, check. gaming service, kinda check.

Seriously, is this a big deal? Is that the response you're looking for? Killzone was declared by Sony to be a Halo killer. Dark Cloud was the Zelda killer. Supposedly. Sony fans had to buy those games because they had nothing like Halo or Zelda on a PS2. I'll be downloading this because I don't have a PS3 nor will I ever buy one. It'll be 50 dollars cheaper than LBP if it remains a Live Arcade game. Can't wait!! ^_^
