In a previous article, we announced that the video game iteration of the board game Catan will be available by May 2, but we have some bad news about it as Microsoft had to pull it out due to some technical problems. The classic video game Centipede/Millipede made the date though, and can now be purchased on Xbox Live Arcade for 400 MS points. Unfortunately, the game is not available in Korea or Japan.Available in Single Player and High Definition, the dashboard description pretty much says it all.
In one of the most beloved arcade games of all times, players must destroy the Centipede as it moves faster and faster through a colorful mushroom field. Try your hand at this classic arcade game in its original form and completely re-stylized versions featuring evolved graphics and gameplay.
Your character (a gnome) at the bottom of the screen shoots upward at a centipede creeping from side to side of the screen. As the centipede hits the edge of the screen, it moves down by a line. The map is dotted with mushrooms which the centipede treats as a wall. Eventually it'll get close enough to touch your gnome, killing it instantly.
First released in 1980, it's still considered one of the best arcade games ever made - goodness knows how many hours of our lives (not to mention quarters) this game ate up. Millipede is the successor to the game, and it's essentially the same game, only with the mushrooms slowly scrolling down.
Centipede/Millipede is already out on XBLA, so fans of classic games should definitely scoop this one up. Excuse us while we go prove who the best centipede player is in QJ.
UPDATE: Sorry about the mix-up, it's the trial version that was pulled out, and not the full version.

Can't get the full 200 points, because it's a trial version and doesn't allow multiplayer, but it still allowed points when it shouldn't have.
