For the guys keeping tabs on the Crysis 360 rumor, we bring something straight from the horse's mouth. Electronic Arts had just officially announced that the Crysis PC title is not not going to be hitting the Xbox 360 console as an independent port.This news comes in light of a recent 1Up podcast, in which their editors had talked to Crytek's developers during last week's CES regarding details of the game in the works, which would be built differently given the 360's lack of Direct X10 support
However, an EA rep has recently denied the rumors, saying that there was a "miscommunication" which led listeners to assume that there was a 360 port in the works. For now, we await further news Crytek may have to say about this clarification. Hey at least we still got the PC title coming up.

There must be a way of putting Crysis onto a XBOX 360 - isn't an X360 basically a high end PC? With its 3 IBM PC Cores?
sales wont b nearly as good as if they had released it for the X360 - how many ppl have a v.powerful PC for gaming - i have a Packard Bell 2.93Ghz, 768mb Ram & 256mb Graphics, 2meg AOL Internet - not the best stats, i know (thats why i have a X360)
btw: does any1 know if this game will have better graphics than Gears Of War?

this games graphics are going to blow Gears out if the water. I just hope it has good gameplay to back it up.

lol - i doubt its a typo - fingers crossed
they WILL b makin it for 360.....such a GREAT looking shooter w/ lack of console support wont really sell MUCH compared to if it was sold on consoles too.....
honestly, it would be a disappointing game if it was sold on consoles since they cant match the vids weve seen. think back to the ps3 demos. if they showed cgi as real footage, peopled be pissed. as is the case here. 360 would not live up to the hype the pc version has made.
