Bungie: Reach will (probably) be the last for Halo from us |

Fans of the Halo franchise might want to get their grubby hands on Halo: Reach as this might be the last game they'll ever get from Bungie for the series. Senior Designer Lars Bakken said that Reach will "most likely" be their last 360 Halo game.Bakken disclosed in an interview with CVG:
In terms of a platform for Halo games made by Bungie, yes. I can't answer that question for Microsoft though. Whether they have something in the works or not, I don't know if they're actually ready to talk about it yet, but in terms of Bungie-produced Halo games, ODST and then Reach is probably all you're going to get.
He also gave an update on the development of ODST, saying that it's already done. "From our standpoint, we had to get it done and get everybody working on Halo: Reach. Looking at the portfolio as a whole and the title roll out, this coming September is the right time for [ODST's release].

they said the exact same thing about halo 3... except it was more definite then, oddly.
They meant no more sequels that time. ODST and Reach are prequels.

no, they won't be done with Halo until they've made a keyboard typing teaching game, an RPG out of it, a racing game with Master Chief and all his buddies in it, a video boardgame type of thing with numerous minigames in it, oh yeah, a collection of sports games with Master Chief in it as well.
I can't wait to play Halo Tennis.
They did say that about halo 3, that there may be more Halo games, but Bungie was moving on to something new. Guess that didn't happen.
Seriously, I like them as a development team and I really would like to see what they can do other than Halo/FPS.....

I don't want to see another Halo game. I'm just sick of prequels, if they didn't milk the prequel train it'd be another story. I would have preferred a Halo 4 or even a "Halo Combat Evolveder" spin off lol.
you cant and we cant resist to a halo story , they make great levels GFX music , its a nice time when we play it . also halo is the selling key and the icon of the xbox360 .
hope one day a chiness booring angenier who lost hes girlfriend , comeout with a cloned psx360 who can run 360 , ps3 , ps2 so the problem will be resolved for us .
