Well here's a very cheerful bit of news we saw at Bungie's site. This of course is related to the Halo 3 content that is set to be released in several gaming magazines. Here's what bungie says:A word of advice and another word of warning.
These magazines are copyrighted material and are available to their subscribers and people who purchase the magazine. Scanning images, posting those images, scanning or posting transcriptions of the articles is a violation of the magazine's copyright and ownership of the material.
Anyone posting scans or text from these magazines will be permanently blacklisted from this site. No other warnings, no appeals, nothing.
...Bungie.Net cannot and will not be a part of people intentionally violating copyright and ownership laws. Anyone who uses this site for that purpose is not a friend nor a fan of Bungie or this community.
Okay, fair enough. No scans at Bungie's site then. Oh well...

Well its kool and all the Bungie is doing sumthing about this but they cant stop they will be on the internet no matter wut......I mean Its Halo 3!
In the age of Kazaa and hundreds of torrent sites, Bungie posts this thinking it will prevent people from posting scans of Bungie's oh-so precious game. I can understand if the Halo 3 game leaked down the road, but it's just random scans. Most people will buy the magazines anyway. I hope QJ posts the scans, but if not I understand. There are plenty of boards who will post it anyway who don't care to get "BLACKLISTED OMGOMG!"
there just saying not to post them on THEIR site, they dont want a part in it. thats perfectly respectable.
bungie can rot, why are they soo uptight about their games. they need to relax, and yes i got blacklisted and somehow im still alive.
wow some people are so dumb.
they're not complaining about people posting scans about their game. they're saying they dont want people posting the EGM scans on their site.
