Bombs away! Worms HD squiggling for XBLA liberation |

Kamikazeeeeee! We could be hearing the quirky, tiny voices of the war-mongering Worms coming from our TV sets very soon. Of course, we'd be stressing on the "could" right there. Forums and other sites have been spurred by a strange tip from a Dream17 website hinting at more info on last January's Worms HD rumor.Here's the statement:
I bumped into Martyn Brown at the London Games Festival 2006 in October, who informed me that Worms HD is now complete, and it's just a matter of Microsoft releasing it.
For those of you who have been able to follow the series all the way to the recent Worms: Open Warfare for the PSP and NDS, the game might be landing on the XBLA in the next couple of weeks. Even though the game is complete, that doesn't mean we will see it right away in this week's Live Wednesday.
No one seems to know the reason why Microsoft is holding it up for pending though. Maybe for testing and other bug tweaks, perhaps? But sure enough, we'll be hearing more on this soon. Bombs away! Let the Worms run wild and free!

This is the best news I've hard all day. :) I love this series of game, over xbox live this is going to rock! YES!
I hope it's the classic side scrolling version... as it's more fun for multiplay.
This game is excellent, both the 3d and 2d versions. I wasnt expecting this.
probably just a rumor. We haven't seen even any screens yet, it's hardly possible that the game is already done, and no info has been released. But it would be nice to have it, it's a really great online and partygame.
then what about Doom?
that was a bomb too and most ppl had no idea it was coing to live untill you could actually dl it

i dont want to play stupid remix with i can download for free on my computer..i want new games exclusive games..games like uno.
New games will come, but the xbla team wants to test the games so that we don't experience to much bugs. Better wait then release a game with critical bugs. Then everybody will bash it for shure. They gotta a pretty big list of indie games so i guess it's just waiting which one comes first... Roboblitz and Small arms are coming too ;)
