Blizzard denies talking to Microsoft over new Xbox |

Blizzard has confirmed that previous rumors stating that they are in talks with Microsoft over a new console is bunk. The previous rumor that stemmed from GamesIndustry.biz stated that:
Blizzard's Rob Pardo has confirmed that his company has had talks with Microsoft about the successor to the Xbox 360.
Speaking at the Luminaries Lunch today during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Pardo would only state that Blizzard is actively in discussions with Microsoft, seemingly confirming the development process of new console hardware is under way.
However, a Blizzard rep clarified that while they were indeed in talks with Microsoft, it wasn't over a new Xbox model:
In the Lunch with Luminaries discussion, Rob said that Microsoft occasionally bounces ideas off of us, with no specific reference to any possible future consoles. This should come as no surprise, as our games run on Microsoft's PC operating system. We aren't in discussions with Microsoft regarding any future consoles.
Looks like we'll have to wait longer for the next iteration of the Xbox, which is only right. A new console right now with the economy as it is would be suicide.

On other note, its more and likely this is true as all these rumors are confirmed later on anyway. With all this talk of next gen consoles in the works its obvious SOMETHING is going on.

also since you love vista so much, i thought i'd let you know i was running it on three desktops at my house and one laptop, it's been great for about 1 and a half years except on the notebook, it ran like poopie on that, i installed windows 7 beta about 3 months ago and it makes vista look like a slow bloated hog. so now it 's on my three desktops as well.
it is tons faster and better compatablity with hardware. you can still get a key from microsoft but you'll have to get the beta off of a torrent site. believe me you will love windows 7. on a final note MS hopefully tests the next xbox generation a little better than they did the 360, if it's solid i will definatly buy the next gen.
