OblivionConscience is hard earned and it seems Bethesda has earned some of its own as it unveiled cheaper prices for their future downloadable content. The installments, currently carrying the titles The Orrery and The Wizards Tower, are said to guarantee Oblivionatics new thrills with a wide array of new quests, areas and effects.

The Orrery download will cost gamers $1.89 for PC, and $1.88 (roughly 150 Marketplace points) to Xbox 360 owners. Its quite a breath of fresh air compared to their recent Horse Armour download that costs 200 points (quite a hefty amount to pimp up an ass if you ask me). This time, gamers can look forward to a better use of their money (and time) with the new features the upcoming installments have to offer.

The Orrery will be highlighted with a new quest and original dialogue, journals and rewards. The eponymous dwarven machine will also be accessible in the Imperial City's Arcane University. New character powers are also to be expected depending on the phases of the moon. This expansion will probably be available for download by next week.

The Wizard's Tower will basically be a new crib for players combo'd with upgradeable furniture and facilities. Players who set up shop in the Tower will be able to grow herbs, make spells, summon atronachs, and perform other magic-oriented tasks. Release date for the Wizard's Tower is still unknown.

According to Bethesda, these expansions (and probably their price) were brought out by the popularity of the Horse-Armour upgrade. Whether it's from the popularity of its coolness, or the infamy of its absurd price, take your pick.

i believe ass is a very technical term in this situation and makes no reference to the buttocks or the like, and pimp is *****in self explanatory.

150 gamer points is worth it. it just feels more appropriate. its like iTunes, they are priced so low, you buy every single one until you find out you spent $20. (its ONLY a dollar! ill just get another one)

@On-topic

I was a bit peeved that they were charging for these addons. We saw the Horse Armor in some pre release screens, but then its an addon. But oh well, its like 2 bucks, no biggie.
