Beta news: Newly uncovered Halo 3 Achievements |

The folks over at the 7th Columnist have uncovered more stuff from the beta source codes. According to this new information, a lot of achievements are going to be lined up for gamers to find and uncover once the games comes out, and it's only the beginning.
There are numerous achievements here, but there are some basic things you'll notice just by seeing them, as pointed out by 7th Columnist. For example, the first nine achievements look to be the tentative names of certain single-player levels you'll have to go through. In the full list, you'll also note the return of skulls, which you can pick up during the game to earn achievements. There's also a placeholder achievement, which would mean additional achievements and possibly levels and multiplayer stages once the game goes gold.
Personally, what we like in these stages are some of the objective-based achievements, which are things you'd expect more from tactical FPS games. Ensuring zero casualties in the middle of a flood sounds like an interesting proposal for a superhero like Master Chief. In any event, take a look at the latest batch of data straight from the Halo 3 beta, and rejoice, because Bungie's certainly working hard at making us all very happy gamers.

If these are real then same thing as with Halo 2 Vista, multi-kill Achievements only go up to Killtacular. Why not go all the way up to Killionaire? I guess they're afraid people will get pissed because it's too hard. 10 kills fast in a ranked game would be pretty difficult (I'm assuming the multiplayer achievements are for ranked matches only), and I guess it's better not to include impossible achievements, unlike GRAW 1 (reach number one on leaderboards = gayest achievement ever). Still, they could have at least done Killtrocity, that's not impossible in a ranked game. Maybe they'll add it later
