Beautiful Katamari demo coming to Japan XBLA on August 22 |

Those who are eagerly awaiting the Prince's arrival on the Xbox 360 are in for some good news: Namco Bandai's Beautiful Katamari Damacy will hit Japanese Xbox Live on August 22! If you're one of them hardcore types who signed up for Xbox Live Japan to get first dibs on most game demos, then you'll certainly have an edge over other Katamari fans.To enhance the rolling experience in Beautiful Katamari Damacy, there will be leaderboards that will show off the way you roll; better practice your moves now on the other Katamari video games so you'll earn bragging rights, rewarded by no other than the King-of-all-Cosmos himself.
The Make-a-Fiery-Katamari mission is back with a vengeance, and the King has cooked up an interesting way of punishing the Prince if he doesn't live up to Katamari expectations: hitting the Prince with pool balls? Large pool balls? That's gotta hurt.
On a related note, lucky fans from Japan will get an immensely cool Katamari-themed strap if they pre-order the video game, Beautiful Katamari Damacy. We sure do hope that the treat will make its way to Western shores, just like the Prince PSP case. In any case, here are some screenshots of the game from Famitsu to tide you over 'til the demo's release on August 22.

Acutally the newest OXM magazine, the september issue has the katamari demo on it, but some discs are actually defective, but hey thats how oxm discs were before too
This game IS for the XBLA now? I see no suggestion it's for the XBLA at Famitsu

Yeah, but only stupid people would buy the OXM magazine (especially for demos when you can get them on the XBLM anyways). I'd rather wait for the Japanese demo.

I bought the OXM with the dur-durr-demo. And yes, it's magical. But hey, it's not all bad, the demo even came with a magazine to read on the crapper! Yay!
So many PS3 owners commenting on this game !!, I take it firstly that is only 360 only and secondly its looking to be a good game or otherwise you wouldnt be here. Go read your low scoring Lair 5 out of 10 reviews or go comment on Bioshock getting 10 out of 10 and at lowest 9/10 ....
