Battlestar Galactica Episode Now Available On Marketplace |
Ó
Major Nelson reports that the previously announced, special re-cap episode from sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. Weighing in at 492 MB, the episode tells us "The Story So Far", perfect for fans who want to get up to speed again, but probably not so ideal for folks planning to watch the show for the first time as the episode pretty much spoils the key events of the past two seasons. Note, however, that the video is not in HD. The episode will also be made available on iTunes and on the Battlestar Galactica Season 2.5 DVD boxset to promote the third season of the show, starting in October. Of course it's also worth mentioning that while this isn't a TV episode in the truest sense, "The Story So Far" marks the first time TV content is hitting Marketplace. Will we see similar content in the future? We guess it depends on the response to this new download, but it's always great to see the Marketplace broadening its horizon.

does it cost anything?
where is it?
it's under media downloads and its free
Well the Viva' Pinata cartoons are classified under TV, and they really are little TV shows....if even seemed like there was a pause for a commercial in the middle, like they will be 15min shows on TV or something.....
Good stuff though, I don't have cable tv, so I like this idea of downloading stuff to watch....even if I did have to pay a buck a show or something....as long as there are no commercials...
hell yeah, best sci-fi show ever, less geeky stuff, more realistic stuff.
