Here are six screenshots from Halo 3's single, campaign, and the recently announced (to great jubilation) co-op modes. Unless you missed the last post, Halo 3 will now be supporting a full-on 4 player co-op mode. Read more about it here. The screenshots are a little old but with the game nearly here you might want to take take a gander in case you missed this batch from Bungie's website.
The graphics are looking awesome with great detail and clarity. And although we don't get to see the (OMGWTFBBQ!) warthog, or any other land-based vehicle, the screenshots do offer the general idea of how the game feels like.
Halo 3 will be released for the Xbox 360 next month.

Although i hated the first two Halo games i must say this game looks great! First two were overhyped imo, this one deserves it.
These screenshots are old, way to get my hopes up.
So are these really going to be the gameplay graphics? If so I'll be impressed, but these look more like concept or CG art, or in game pre-rendered movies. Especially photo #2. Will have to see.

What is that creature in the third shot? Is that some new race MC will be fighting?

The creature in the third shot is a Brute - they were in Halo 2, but Bungie have changed them alot. Most of them have fancy armour on.
Are you sure that is a Brute. It looks almost lizard or shark like. More like a reptile than a mammal.

That is a Brute... It looks like a Brute, and it has a Brute Shot on its back... JEEZ! The graphics are good, not amazing, but gameplay will make up for that. Halo has nothing to do with Sony's lack of games, so keep telling yourself that Halo is bad and has sh*tty graphics when you most likely don't or haven't played it. Saved films, Forge, 4-player online co-op... Halo 3 can't suck. Go tell yourself that Killzone was a good game... it seems all the Sony boys care about are game graphics. Killzone 2 = uh, why did we make a sequel?
