Banjo-Tooie confirmed for April - Image 1

Banjo-Tooie has been officially confirmed for a release on Xbox Live this April. The port has been updated for HD video, and will be implemented with the Stop 'n' Swop feature. Rare community manager George Kelion explains:

Banjo-Tooie will be a note-perfect migration of Banjo and Kazooie's second adventure. In their struggle against Grunty and her wicked sisters, the bear and bird can now rely on the extra grunt supplied by the Xbox 360, bringing with it silky-smooth frame rates and super-sharp HD graphics.

[...] Without going into too much detail, the Stop 'n' Swop items collected in Banjo-Kazooie will 'magically' appear in Tooie, resulting in... well, you'll just have to find out.

Kelion also hinted that they have something else in the works for Tooie, saying that "li'l sum'n sum'n that we've got on the boil to spice up Nuts & Bolts." DLC maybe? Some sort of integration with Banjo-Kazooie 3?

Cool

It's just too bad they never ended up on the VC. Still waiting for Donkey Kong 64 to hit VC...another Rare gem, no pun intended. lol
