Banjo Kazooie 3 - Image 1Banjo Kazooie fans be at ease, it looks like the sequel to the franchise currently being developed for the Xbox 360 is not the first-party Microsoft title getting the axe, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the studio, Rare. So which Microsoft title's getting the boot? It's still anyone's guess.

The initial rumor that an anticipated Microsoft title is getting axed came from a 1up podcast. Speculation has been rampant, but the ones that have been confirmed by the developers that aren't getting the boot so far are Alan Wake and Banjo Kazooie 3.

Banjo Kazooie 3

Yes! The Xbox 360 needs a great platformer to increase sales. I'm getting tired of this stupid shooter trend. I could probably think of over 40 shooter games right now. I've always looked forward to Banjo Kazooie 3 ever since I saw the trailer. I loved it on the N64 and hopefully it'll be great on the 360 with next-gen graphics. Can't wait. It's one of the sole reasons for me to get a 360 other than Gears and Bioshock.

It looks like it's...

The Marvel MMO: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3164355 Oh well, it looked pretty good, but better it than Banjo 3, Alan Wake or Too Human
