Australia's Halo 3 Xbox 360 gets priced |

Good news for the folks in Australia, at least if you're saving up for the Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360. Microsoft has just announced their pricing for the SKU in the region, which is pegged at AUS$ 679.95. That's roughly US$ 534.04. By comparison, the US release of the same package is set for US$ 399.As fellow blogger Karl reported previously, the Halo 3 Xbox 360 will include an Xbox 360 Pro (20GB HDD) and controller, both repainted to the same color tone as the Master Chief. Also included in the package is a wired headset, a Play and Charge kit, an HDMI port, and downloadable Halo 3 gamer pics and themes.

i was told at the australian EB = electronics boutiqe that xbox 360 elite pack has built in HD dvd drive which the original didnt... but i cant find a description that says it does.. neither does the halo 3 console.. or does it?? i think it is such a shame if it doesnt cause then microsoft will make more money when i buy the hd dvd drive in the future.. die microsoft and hurry up with gta4 im waiting~!!
