In case you're wondering whatever happened to Armored Core 4...we'll tell you about that in a while. The fourth title in the Armored Core series for the Xbox 360 (and PS3), and From Software's follow up to Chromehounds, first surfaced at last year's Tokyo Game Show. According to From Software, Armored Core 4 would feature multiple AC opponents and an improved damage system designed to change the feel of the game.
Players will also be able to customize their Armored Core 4 in Gran Turismo-style for optimal performance. Armored Core 4 was slated to be the first fully on-line Armored Core game via 360's Xbox Live and had a target Japanese release date around Summer 2006. So whatever happened to the game? We came across some info citing Famitsu that the game's release date has been moved to an unspecified time. No details were given but we'll keep you posted ASAP.
