All hands on deck, Battlestations: Midway release date

Make a note on your calendars. Eidos has just announced that Battlestations: Midway will be shipped to North American retailers on January 30, 2007. This action packed nautical warfare simulator would be available both for the PC and the Xbox 360.

Battlestations: Midway takes you back in time and immerses you in the great historical Pacific battles of World War II, all seen in 3rd person perspective. Players can go online and play head-to-head and co-operative fleet battles with Xbox Live, supporting up to eight players.

Robert Lindsey of Eidos says,

Battlestations: Midway evokes some of the most dramatic events in US naval history and delivers a huge scale naval and aerial battle experience for gamers and enthusiasts. The year 2007 also marks the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Midway and we are proud to mark this significant occasion by bringing these events into the modern day in a cutting edge and powerful gaming context.
