Remedy is happy not only with Alan Wake but also with Microsoft, so much so that they're pledging a sequel for the game and exclusivity to the publisher. This was revealed in franchise development head Oskari Hakkinen's interview with Eurogamer.
"Microsoft put a lot of beef behind [Alan Wake] for it to be an exclusive for the 360. They feel it's an important tile for their portfolio. It fits into their portfoloio among other games like Gears of War, Halo and Forza."
Moving forward on the sequel, Hakkinen stressed that while a sequel of the game is imminent, this does not necessarily guarantee that Part 2 will also be finding its way to the PC. Right now though, the team is busy at work on the DLCs for Alan Wake and has in fact "haven't had a chance to get out to Redmond, Microsoft Game Studios, and discuss anything further of how we move on."

Also funny how you pull the "360 fanboys only like shooters" card ignoring the fact that the PS3s most recent top sellers (UC2, KZ2, Resistance 2) are primarily shooters moreso than anything else.
Not to mention, if MS and Remedy weren't satisfied with Alan Wake's performance, they clearly wouldn't be talking about a sequel so soon.
Leave the fanboy talk at the door.
